Impressionistic moving snapshots of a life on the land. Colour, grain and light of 16mm film material are used here for a quickly moving yet calm painting. The film is made up of three parts. The central part of the trilogy was filmed in 1981 by Maria Lang and is about her mother. The first part was shot in 1995 by Ute Aurand and is about the film maker Maria Lang who looks after her mother. The last, most recent, part was made by the two film makers together. Lang's mother is now 96 and needs intensive nursing. The special approach led to a unique and very personal document.
