Paul has lived for years in an old people’s home in the countryside. Waiting for his family, he remembers earlier painful outings. Beautiful classic fiction about the unease and worry that takes over a family as soon as they are confronted with old age and (slight) senility. Paul is still tolerated as company, but no longer loved. The film is carried by the well-known actor Michael Lonsdale (e.g. Munich, 5×2).
