Volga-Volga is a Soviet comedy of the late 30s directed by Grigory Aleksandrov. It is the story of a talented country girl. Local bureaucrats are trying to prevent her from participating in a song contest in Moscow. But nevertheless she comes to Moscow where she achieves success. At the end of the movie the happy heroes sing all together on a stage. In the new version of Volga Volga the main role (formerly played by Liubov Orlova, a Soviet Marlene Dietrich) is played by Vladislav Mamyshev-Monro, a renowned Russian artist. She plays the part of Lubov Orlova brilliantly. The film has never been screened in public so far.
