The loop is the most compact form of filmmaking: a perpetual motion machine of audiovisual emotion, in which repetition brings the movement to a halt. Loop Pool is made up of 50 video loops by 55 artists in many different forms: documentary, narrative, experimental, animation, drama, found footage, photo film; with a length varying from six frames to 10 minutes; silent, with sound or with music – all conceivable forms are brought together in this project.
