CADAVRE EXQUIS documents the work and approach of five independent experimental Dutch film makers. It sketches a picture of the diversity there is in experimental film, with the weathered dream landscapes of Henri Plaat, abstract animations of Joost Rekveld, the bizarre underwater world filmed by Gerard Holthuis, Lonnie van Brummelen's images of a paralysed urban dynamic and Jeroen Eisinga's version of Merijntje Gijzen's comeback.
