Three works by Joëlle Tuerlinckx can be seen in TENT. Interlude Film is a largely white film. A small series of calling cards without any visible printing are piled one on top of another. The film is screened at normal speed, speeded up and slowed down. In OBJETs PERMANENTs, objects marked by time are subjected to an accelerated ageing process. In Solar Room, finally, the usual lighting of an exhibition space is replaced by ultraviolet lighting. While the phenomenon cannot be seen with the naked eye, these rays do have an effect on the colour tints in the works, the colours of the walls and the furniture and they change the skin tints of the visitors. Entering such a space means changing your appearance, your tint. A sign warns visitors not to stay too long ('on medical advice'). To look at in groups or alone, with or without protective glasses.
