At collective work by 33 directors on which 55 people worked in all. The material, 290 hours in all, was shot during the demonstration at the end of July 2001 against the G8 summit in Genua. The collective statement is as follows: 'We want to give a face and a voice to the people who have lost their rights to talk about the most important decisions that will decide their future and the future of the world.' They also support the statement by Mario Monivelli: 'I have always been oriented to the political left and I don't see why I should change that now. The "People of Seattle" are not Communists, but anticapitalists. What can we do apart from showing solidarity with them, in view of the fact that capitalism is the most merciless ideology of the past century?'
