23.2, Book of Mirrors is a part from a cycle of five abstract films about light, inspired by concepts from medieval and Renaissance optics. All the images are caused by the interference of lightwaves directly on the emulsion, without the use of lenses. About the multiplication of bundles of light through mirrors and kaleidoscopes. The structure of the film came about in cooperation with the composer Rozalie Hirs.
