Missing Link - Tateori Yokoori

This work of Takaumi Furuhashi aims to realise the process of evolution by the act of folding origami. The origami is shaped vertically (Tateori), horizontally (Yokoori), or obliquely. In Missing Link - Tateori Yokoori, virtual paper is folded when the audience touches lines on a piece of paper. The sheet of virtual paper in this case is projected on a table, and the audience can touch it with a pen. The positions of the line indicate the direction of folding. The shapes which appears depend on which line is chosen. The various shapes are created by repeating this process. It is possible that the metamorphosis leads to a bird, an insect or a flower, but the result can also be a completely new and unknown creature.
