Parody on the classic detective film with the absurdity of a comic strip. With the aid of video techniques that were still in their infancy, images were edited into the images and provided with texts like a comic strip, resulting in a humorous experiment that acquired cult status. Samir's first feature, made for the ZDF/Das Kleine Fernsehspiel, immediately gave him a reputation as an important innovative film-maker. His video strip plays with clichés from a variety of genres and brings them together in a carefree way.Detective Morlov has a corpse thrown at his feet and his attractive client Ms Wunderlin chases him all over the world. In addition cows turn out to be daunting debaters and two billiard balls discuss advanced physics. In its design and substantive mixture of various forms of mass culture, the film heralds later digital tendencies.
