Oscar lives a solitary life in a village called Ruigoord that is doomed to disappear in the near future. From the moment when he wakes up and prepares for a blind date with a woman, all kinds of strange things happen to him. Despite all the bad omens, he heads for his goal, not suspecting how fateful it will be.
