For , cooperated with Andrew Culver, the composer, media artist and former assistant to John Cage. Their point of departure was to work with chance in the spirit of Cage and the film comprises five separate parts. The first part is a chance-based interview with Cage, Nineteen Questions. The second bears the title Fourteen, after a composition by John Cage, played by the Ives Ensemble. Part three is Paying Attention and comprises Scheffer's first interview with Cage (1982). The fourth part is Art and Overpopulation and comprises a text by Cage and his composition Royangi. The fifth part is David Tudor, in which the composer Tudor talks about the work of his friend Cage.
