Home-movie material plays a leading role in , although the material was made sepecially for the film. The usual authenticity of family films is completely absent here and that is an important theme in the film. The apparent truth of the allegedly objective film images manifests itself to be nothing but unmitigated lies. plays with the aesthetics of family films and with the many implications the material usually has and prepares them for a story with thriller elements wich is occasionally frightening and unpleasant. The blues in the story is the grieving for a lost innocence in the relationship between two brothers. It looks as if the good old times have been recorded on super8 material from their youth, but further observation reveals that falsity had alrady found its way into that. The two brothers have grown apart; Gábor, who lives in Paris, and János, who stayed in Budapest with their mutual idol Judith, look back and discover a painful old secret via video letters.
