A true-to-life comedy about a film-maker who decides to test belief in God. His approach: he starts to make a film without a script and even without any idea what his film will be about. His thesis: If God exists and is indeed omniscient, omnipotent and omnibenevolent, then God knows what He is doing and He will make sure the film is entertaining. The film-maker even asks God for a miracle he can record on film so the film can be used to strengthen all people's faith in God and his own in particular. The director's own faith is however weak and he soon starts doubting God's existence when no miracles occur. He increasingly panics, tries to make God's hand his own and tosmooth the way. When a miracle does eventually happen, it turns out to be of quite a different order than he had expected.
