Violence, passion and romance are in store for Hong Kong when Celia puts in an appearance: a cheerful Chinese girl from the mainland who sneaks round to protect her brother from a jail sentence. Celia soon finds herself in the underworld and has to watch her back. Then she meets Frank. He comes from a wealthy family and responds to his father’s love with hatred. All because of the death of his mother, caused by his father’s indifference. An affair slowly develops between Frank and Celia. But their blossoming love is subject to powers form without: Bill, a policeman, is after Celia, who is already the target for an underworld boss.
