Like Bon Voyage, Aventure Malgache is short, curious and made during World War Two. In this film the roles are also played by French actors who performed under the 'cover' of The Molière Players. The fine camerawork in this propaganda film was, just as in Bon Voyage, by ex-UFA-cameraman Günther Krampf ironically enough. The aim of the film was to tackle the discord among the French who were resisting Germany. The disagreements are approached indirectly, yet apparently not diplomatically enough: for this reason the film was never released. The story is told in flash-backs. Several theatre actors get into a discussion in their dressing room as they put on their make-up. One of them is a former lawyer from Madagascar, who tells his colleagues about his difficult legal battle against a corrupt police commissioner.
