Jean-Luc

A video in which Godard himself is in the limelight. He is interviewed by two reporters: one from France-Culture and one from Libération. The video is half of a two-part work; the other half is called Lèçons de choses. This half uses a large amount of archive footage to provide a broad view of systems which order worlds and views of the world. The two parts in turn form an episode in a series, Six fois deux, sur et sous la communication, in which an intimate and personal approach contrasts with a broader and more business-like approach to means of communication which dominate the world and how we think about it.î
