Daughters is a dramatic film about the everyday life of drug addicted kids in a big city in present-day Thailand and asks the question of about what led to the downfall of these kids. Chatri Chalerm Yukol: 'I made Daughters so the audience could learn something from it. I wanted to show people how kids using drugs live: they use drugs as a flight from the worthless life their family leads. In this modern era, in which good and bad are interwoven, people are under incredible pressure. It is not difficult to fall prey to such needs, but in the end it's the children who suffer. I made this film as a lesson for fathers, mothers and children.'
