Thomas Elley

Thomas ELLEY is a Danish film director working in both fiction and documentary. His short, Open Spaces (2018), was selected for Clermont-Ferrand in 2019. He graduated from fiction directing at The National Film School of Denmark in 2023 with both a fiction and a documentary graduation film.The latter, Romantica (2023), had its world premiere at DocLisboa 2023. His next documentary, Europa Endlos (2025), premiered at CPH:DOX in 2025. LUX marks Elley’s debut feature and will continue his process of blending fiction with documentary elements through collaborations with non-professional actors.
