Anica (60) pushes back the ongoing chemotherapy, seeing her daughter’s care as a quiet theft of dignity, while Vlatko (also 60) drifts through life as a solitary drinker, long dismissed by those who once worked beside him. Bound only by the bitterness that drove them apart years ago, they will become unexpected allies in a desperate cry for the will to live. A superbly directed and acted miniature character study of two deeply peculiar individuals.
