Niranjan Raj Bhetwal
Born in Nepal, Niranjan Raj BHETWAL is a filmmaker based in Kathmandu. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Scriptwriting and Direction from Oscar International College, where he graduated in 2013. He is an alumnus of Berlinale Talent Campus 2021. His short film Kafal Pakyo (2014) travelled to more than 75 film festivals including the 38th Denver Film Festival and won numerous awards. A few years later, he made a short film, Smoke through a spider web (2018) that travelled to more than 25 film festivals, also winning many awards. After Anhad (2021) his new short film is The Witness Tree (2023).
