Clyde Gates

Clyde GATES and Gabriel SANSON (Belgium) are filmmakers who met at Institut Supérieur des Arts – INSAS in Brussels in 2012 and have since formed a long-standing creative partnership. Together, they founded Scum Pictures, through which they have written, directed and produced a series of short films that have screened at major international festivals, including Venice Film Festival, IFFR and the European Film Awards. Gates and Sanson are currently developing their debut feature, The Meteorologist, which has received screenwriting support from CNC, the Île-de-France Region and the Wallonia–Brussels Federation. Their short film CUL-DE-SAC ! (2026) is selected for IFFR 2026.
