The World Came Flooding In is een immersieve VR-documentaire over herinneringen aan de overstromingen in het oosten van Australië in 2022, vergelijkbaar met recente gebeurtenissen in andere werelddelen. Kunstenaars Isobel Knowles en Van Sowerwine roepen verdwenen ruimten, objecten en stemmen op en laten toeschouwers door schitterende sets lopen. Ze veranderen verlies in reflecties op gemeenschap en herstel, met een onderliggende oproep tot actie om de klimaatcrisis op te lossen.
