Vertrekpunt is het theaterstuk El señor Galindez van psychoanalist, dramaturg en acteur Eduardo Pavlovsky, waarin theoretische vragen rond onderdrukking en martelpraktijken in het Argentinië van 1972 centraal staan. In detail tast de camera het nu lege theater af waar het stuk in première ging. Het voelt net zo bedrukkend als het toen moet zijn geweest.
