Samira Elagoz

Samira ELAGOZ (1989, Finland) is a Finnish/Egyptian transmasculine artist. His art works have been displayed at various international art venues, garnering him several awards such as the Silver Lion at Venice Biennale Teatro 2022 and the Spirit of CUFF prize at Chicago Underground Film Festival. Elagoz’ artworks explore intimate encounters with strangers and combine performance art with film, developing his unique brand of docu-ficition. You can’t get what you want but you can get me (2024) premieres at IFFR 2024.
