Een muis bevindt zich in een lege woonkamer en haalt herinneringen op aan een vriendschap uit haar jeugd. Op prachtige wijze balanceert regisseur Ullman met begrippen als leven en simulatie. Door in deze 3D-animatie een niet-menselijke hoofdpersoon met zeer indringende ogen te gebruiken, onderzoekt hij wat het betekent om je mens te voelen.
