Learn how to pitch like a pro and present your project to decision makers for constructive feedback.

Back by popular demand for the first time in three years, we are excited to announce that during IFFR 2023 the Pro Hub will once again off filmmakers the unique opportunity to attend our successful workshop and then pitch to decision makers from the film industry to receive constructive feedback.

On Saturday 28 there will be two intimate group sessions with two top coaches, who will guide you in sharpening your presentation skills.

On Monday 30, filmmakers will have the chance to present their film or project to specially invited decision makers in a roundtable session for feedback.

How do you earn the right to someone’s attention?

One of the key skills required to get ahead in the film industry is that of communicating effectively.

In the Pitching Workshops you will gain insight into the art of presenting yourself and your ideas clearly and genuinely. You’ll have the opportunity to develop and enhance your pitch in a supportive and constructive environment.  Discover how to ensure that your message comes across to whoever you’re talking to!

These two prep sessions have been designed to sharpen your skills on how to summarise your ideas and how to communicate these concisely. Also you will learn how to feel comfortable in front of your audience.

Marjorie Bendeck and Bonnie Williams will help you build your confidence, synthesise your content and fine-tune your pitch. 

Pitch Out! – Decision Makers feedback roundtables

Pitch your project in development or finished film to funds, producers, buyers, sales agents, festivals & markets and receive constructive feedback on the content and its viability a supportive environment.

Moderated by Marjorie Bendeck and Bonnie Williams, with Augusto Matte (Jirafa), Xavier Henry-Rashid (Film Republic), Triin Tramberg (Black Nights Film Festival Tallinn), Nathan Fischer (Stray Dogs), Anna Ciennik (Very Good Script), Paolo Bertolin (Venice International Film Festival), Nico Marzano (ICA), Daniela Persico (Locarno Film Festival), Wouter Jansen (Square Eyes) and Pedro Fernandes Duarte (Primeira Idade). .
