Each year, IFFR expands the realm of cinema to installations, immersive media, exhibitions, music and performances, through its adventurous and multi-disciplinary Art Directions programme.
During the Art Directions Walk through Rotterdam, a tour guide will introduce you to six installations part of this year’s programme: Unfolding, Cloud Migration, Godide, We will definitely talk about this after the last air raid alert stops, Asunder and DUCK.
The tour begins at Rotterdam Central Station (the white cube/installation in the main entrance hall).

Art Directions is the space where the festival steps out of the screening room and pushes the limits of what cinema can be. At galleries and artistic spaces across Rotterdam, encounter cinema in surprising forms: immersive media, performances, live music and visual art.
