Campusano's turn here was unpredictable. Who could have foreseen only ten years ago (during the time of Vil romance) that he would make a film in 360 degrees and set in New York? This perceptual experiment in a concrete territory brings together a set of characters who could be described as stereotypes of the American way of life: we have a slacker, an immigrant, a reactionary white man, a dysfunctional family. None of them becomes the protagonist; all of them get a couple of scenes in which a ubiquitous idiosyncrasy and social climate is sketched.

A desire for experimentation is added to sociological curiosity and a minimum of narrative structure, thereby conquering the visual intensification of reality by means of the expansion of the field of register. What was once done by using depth of field is here achieved by stretching this field into all directions, and also testing of variations which enable calmness or movement.
