Could it be true, that story of the young man who won an enormous hotel at the gambling table at the end of the last century, only to lose it to a few crooks a little later? Could it be that he did this in the way people offer a palace to their lover by closing the doors of the hotel to guests? Are they real holidaymakers, who are described in this story as a strange and scruffy mob? And the character Zucco that so fascinated the film maker is he really a type from the mountains of Argentina, whose culinary gifts are on the same high level as his spontaneous kitsch art, and who seems to have made time to play a role in all social and political aid organisations in the region? Is it possible that in Argentina there is the drowned city, an Atlantis from some tiny mythology?
