The guests: In an encounter between media activists then and now, the question will be posed of the parallels between the movement in the late 1960s of which Newsreel formed a part and the current generation of media and video activists. Paul McIsaac was a member of the Newsreel collective and has been a political journalist and film-maker since the 1960s. He also played the role of Doc in Robert Kramer’s Docs Kingdom and Route One, USA. Also with Rick van Amersfoort (Vrije Keiser TV, Holland), Jacquie Soohen (Big Noise Films, US), Tora Krogh (Candida TV, Italy) and Josh Shore (Guerrilla News Network, US).
