Art Directions 2020
Every year, International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) celebrates all things audio-visual. Our comprehensive understanding of the medium reaches its peak in Art Directions, IFFR’s wide-ranging programme of art installations, performances and exhibitions. At this 2020 edition, once again there’s lots to discover: from kinetic light art to spatial installations inspired by a finished film, or a feature in the making. From a multidisciplinary exhibition to a ‘waiting room’ rewarding visitors’ patience. Individually, each project tells its own story; together, they form a testament to the manifold ways in which image and sound can find their form.
