Waise Azimi
The documentary maker Waise AZIMI earned a degree in Sociology from Bard College in 2005. He worked for the organisation of the Kontra-Agos: A Resistance Film Festival, a festival in The Philippines, where independently produced films are screened that go against the current conventionality of popular cinema. His film Standing Up was also shown.
