Romain Goupil
Romain Goupil (1951) worked from 1970 to 1973 as assistant cameraman and was then assistant director to Chantal Akerman (Les rendez-vous d'Anna, 1978), Roman Polanski (Tess, 1979) and Jean-Luc Godard (Sauve qui peut, 1980, and Allemagne neuf zéro, 1990). He also made his own films throughout this period.
