Jonathan Glazer

Widely acknowledged film director and screenwriter Jonathan GLAZER (1965, England), started his career in theatre before transitioning into film. His work often surrounds depictions of flawed and desperate characters, exploring themes like alienation and loneliness, utilising a bold visual style with an omniscient perspective and dramatic use of music. Glazer has received nominations for the Palme d’Or, two BAFTA Awards and twice for both the Golden Lion and the Grand Jury Prize at the Venice Film Festival. The Zone of Interest (2023) has won the Grand Prix and the FIPRESCI Prize at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.
