Helena Gouveia Monteiro

Helena GOUVEIA MONTEIRO is an experimental filmmaker and visual artist from Portugal, currently living in Dublin. She holds an MFA from the ENSA Villa Arson in Nice. Since then her works has been displayed internationally both in gallery and cinema spaces, including Rencontres Cinéma et Vidéo de Nice, Festival Ecrã and Vila do Conde International Film Festival-Experimental Competition. Her experimental short film Purkyně’s Dusk (2021) was screened at Oberhausen International Film Festival. She is the co-founder of Stereo Editions publishing collective and currently co-directs the LUX Critical Forum, Dublin.
