Granular Synthesis

Granular Synthesis is a work in progress that was launched in 1992 by the duo Kurt Hentschläger and Langheinrich. It strives for a conflation of sound and vision in a single medium where video becomes sound and sound video. The image is composed as music, as it were. Granular Synthesis makes immersive installations that appeal to all the visitor’s senses.
