Camille Billops
Still: Take Your BagsSculptor, filmmaker and educator Camille Billops (1933-2019, USA) gained her BA at California State College in 1960. She later studied at the City College of New York. From 1973 to 1987, Billops taught in the Arts faculty of Rutgers University in Newark. Not only a prolific sculptor, Billops began making films in the 1980s including Suzanne Suzanne (1982) and Finding Christa (1991), which won the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance Film Festival in 1992. She produced her films together with her husband, James Hatch, and their production company Mom and Pop Productions. Billops died in 2019.
