Cipher Screen
Cipher Screen is a 3-screen live art performance piece combining factors both random and controlled. It harnesses the mechanisms of film and cinema: the projector, the film material, the darkened room and synchronized sound – creating a live score and a visual and sonic interaction. The ‘aberrations’ on the film loops create pops, cracks, and hisses which are deftly manipulated by the sound artist Mike Cooper, who will be playing live.
