Le point aveugle

With Le point aveugle, we present a live film screening combined with visual and aural performance elements using several 16mm projectors. The original images are manipulated and modified using different techniques: focal variation, superimposing, repeating sequences, partial masking, the use of coloured filters and other transparent objects. This performance was conceived as a dialogue between several film makers, a dialogue in which the image is the starting material and the lighting a visual flood spilling out of the obscurity, deconstructed and reconstructed constantly. By abandoning the story to redefine the nature of the film medium, we try to create something of the order of a contemplative journey, leaving it to every spectator to lead his own investigation.
