Together with Art Rotterdam, IFFR presents How to Make Money Religiously (2014) by Laure Prouvost in a viewing module in the main hall of Rotterdam Central Station. Two slightly different versions of the same video play sequentially in a loop, creating a moment of déjà vu. Focusing on the problems as well as the possibilities of memory and forgetting, this work addresses the arbitrary distinctions that can be ascribed to power and possession.
