Zeka Laplaine

Zeka LAPLAINE (Llebo, Democratic Republic of Congo) moved in 1979 to Rome to study International Business. In Italy he starts performing as an actor in theatre and commercials. In 1984 he decides to study acting in Brussels. Here he learned to write screenplays as well. He has acted in several films, including the film by this year’s Film Maker in Focus, Abderrahmane Sissako’s, Bamako , which is also being screened at the festival. Kinshasa P alace is his fourth feature film.
