Victor Gaviria
Victor GAVIRIA (1955, Medellín, Colombia) is a film maker, writer and poet. After having made several shorts and documentaries, he made his first feature in 1990, Rodrigo D. No Futuro, in which he depicted the harsh reality of his native city. His second feature, La vendedora de rosas (The Rose Seller, 1997) participated in the Official Section at Cannes. Gaviria is also the author of several books of poetry and short stories.
