Tony Rayns

Tony Rayns is a London-based film-maker, critic and curator with a special interest in the cinemas of East Asia. His writing appears in Sight & Sound, Insight Japan and Cine 21. In recent years he has programmed Korean, Thai and Japanese cinema strands for Rotterdam. In 1997 he made a 'special guest appearance' in Stanley Kwan's Hold You Tight.
