Terry Riley

Terry RILEY (1935, Colfax, California) is one of the pioneers of the Minimalist movement and thrust himself amongst the eminent composers of the late 20th century. His work has influenced such composers as Steve Reich, Philip Glass, and John Adams, but also rock bands like the Velvet Underground, Sonic Youth, The Who, and The Soft Machine.
