Samira Makhmalbaf

Samira Makhmalbaf (1980) is the daughter of film-maker Mohsen Makhmalbaf in whose films she also occasionally acts. Between 1994 and 1997 she studied film at a private school. Her feature début, The Apple, was screened in 1999 in Rotterdam.
