Pierre Monnard
Swiss director Pierre MONNARD (1976, Switzerland) studied filmmaking in England before directing commercials director for companies such as MTV, Stella Artois and Credit Swiss Banking. He made his feature film debut with Recycling Lily (2013) which was followed by the successful TV series' Wilder (2017), Neumatt (2021), Off Season (2022) and the ARTE documentary Blood Business (2017). Monnard's Platzspitzbaby (2020) was voted Best Film of the Year by the Swiss Film Journalists Association and nominated for five awards at Swiss Film Awards. His third feature film Bisons (2024) is selected for 2024.
