Pablo de la Barra
Pablo DE LA BARRA (1944, Chile) is a director of Venezuelan descent. He studied theatre at the University of Chile and literature at the University of California. He worked as an assistant director to Siège de Costa-Gavras and Hugo Alarcón. During Chile's coup d'état, de la Barra flew to Venezuela and created Queridos compañeros (1978) which is selected for IFFR 2024. His other works have been screened at international film festivals.
