Nakashima Tetsuya

NAKASHIMA Tetsuya (1959, Japan) made his debut in 1997 as a filmmaker after years working as one of Japan’s most successful directors of commercials and music videos. His breakthrough came seven years later with Kamikaze Girls, winner of the award for the Best Director at the Yokohama Film Festival. In 2011, his revenge film Confessions was chosen by the Japanese Film Academy as Best Film of the Year.
