      Michael Klier

      Michael Klier (1943, Karlovy Vary / Karlsbad, Czechoslovakia) lived for several years in Paris where he worked on François Truffaut's La peau douce (1964). In 1969 he moved to Berlin and studied history and philosophy there. His film work includes brief portraits of Rossellini, Straub, Truffaut, Losey and the 'cameramen' of Godard. Klier was also a professional soccer player for some time.
